By providing free, hands-on workshops and complete take-home art kits, we ensure that every student has access to the materials and guidance needed to explore their artistic potential. We teach the foundational art of animation and digital creation, not just as a technical skill, but as a vibrant new language for self-expression and a powerful lens through which to see the world.
The heart of our curriculum lies in connecting these artistic principles to the environment. We guide young creators to see how animation techniques like 'timing and force' or 'squash and stretch' exist all around them in the natural world—from the way a flower blooms to the way an animal jumps. By translating their direct observations of nature into compelling animated narratives, students develop a profound and active appreciation for the environment they are a part of. Ultimately, Dream Rocket exists to equip youth with the skills and confidence to share their incredible stories with the world, one frame at a time.
